Get guests excited for your big day with this A5 sophisticated blue wedding invitation featuring a dark, midnight blue shot of colour and calligraphy font highlighting your names. I personalise this invitation design for you with your own wedding wording, including adding guest names to the invitations (optional) at no extra charge.

The stripe design continues to the reverse of the card, with the option to add your names and wedding date, or, if you don’t want a separate RSVP card, we can add your simple guest response information.

Includes –

Printed Wedding Invitations (14.8 x 21cm | A5 | Portrait Format):
– Your personalised wedding details/wording;
– Optional
included guest name printing on the front of your main invitation;
Optional printing of your RSVP information to the reverse;
– Digitally printed to both sides on 300gsm ‘The Italian’ classically textured card;
– Alternatively, printed on 350gsm uncoated ‘The New Yorker’ for a modern feel—printed colours will appear cooler in tone than when printed on ‘The Italian’;
– Crisp white invitation envelopes.

Modular Suite Options —

• Guest Information Card (14.8cm x 14.8cm | SQ Format) – large enclosure card which you can use for any additional wedding details that you want to share with your guests. Your main information will be printed to the front of the card. Choose from a standard, order of the day (to add your key wedding timings), or wedding menu reverse.

• RSVP Card (10.5 x 14.8cm | A6 | Landscape Format) – double sided response card with your RSVP form to one side and either a postcard style or standard berry bloom reverse with your names and wedding date.

• RSVP Envelope (C6-) – return envelope to use with a ‘standard style’ RSVP card. It is sized to fit your RSVP card snuggly and is lighter weight than the main invitation envelope (around 100gsm) in order to keep your postage costs down. You can choose from blank to write your own address or, for orders over 25 units, opt for them to be printed with your details.

• Small Enclosure Card or Gift Wish Card (10.5 x 10.5 cm | Square Format) – a useful small format card that you can use for a short quote or other short information. Ideal to use as a honeymoon wish card or for details of your gift list or wedding website.

• Vellum Wrap – protect your invitations and add a touch of mystery by adding a translucent ‘vellum’ to wrap around your invitation or card bundle.

• Deep Bellyband – to wrap around the outside of your suite and tie everything together. Alternatively, you might choose to use some ribbon or twine, or another embellishment of your choice!

Send me your wording and select any design options or embellishments by clicking on “Select Options & Buy”.

Once you have inputted the quantity of cards that you need, the unit price will update to reflect the tier pricing. Any embellishments or additional cards you have selected will be listed as a total price under ‘Enclosures & Extras Total’, with tier pricing calculated as appropriate. You can pay in total now or pay a deposit, with the balance due after design work and before printing of your cards.

When I have your wording, and guest names if applicable, I take the information that you provide, open up my design software, and amend the base designs so they work best for your own particular wording and preferences. That might mean making a heading a little smaller sized, or moving things about to fit better.

You can expect your first design proof within 3 working days—usually sooner. Up to 3-revisions are included as standard to ensure the design is perfect for you before printing starts. Each additional revision is £15, billed separately.

Once all proofs are approved, printing begins, or in the case of “design only” orders, I supply you with all the files necessary to start your own printing. I do any finishing in-house, carefully check everything over, and send on to you.

The entire process usually takes between 1-4 weeks, depending on the type of item you’ve ordered, the size of your order and any additional customisations you have requested. I highly recommend ordering at least 1 month before you need your items. You don’t want your pretty new stationery to arrive after the big day!

Word your cards however feels best for you. For a Save the Date, it could simply be your names, the date, and an indication there will be a wedding!

If you are stuck, use the wording form provided to give you some ideas. Don’t worry if you don’t get it perfect, we can refine things during the design process for you. And, if you need any help with wording, please get in touch and I’ll do my best to help you through the process.

Save the Date Cards – 6+ Months

The sooner you send out your Save the Date cards the less double-booked guests you’ll have, so it’s a good idea to send at least 6 months before your wedding date, and as early as possible of your guests will have to make special arrangements to attend.

Wedding Invitations – 3-6 Months

It’s never too early to send out your invitations, but plan to get them in the post box around 3 months before the big day, at the latest! It’s a good idea to ask your guests to RSVP at least 2 weeks before your suppliers need their final numbers so that you have time to chase up anyone who hasn’t responded!

On the Day Stationery – 1-2 Months

Order your on-the-day stationery, like wedding programs, menus and table plans, a couple of months in advance: as soon as you have your final head-count and the finer details in place.

Invitations and cards come printed onto premium quality card weight (300-350gsm) paper: either ‘The Italian’, which has a hammered texture, adds a beautiful warmth to the cards, and offers a premium-classic look; or ‘The New Yorker’ which is smooth, uncoated, and has cooler undertones for a modern look.

The final colour of the design will vary slightly between printed batches and depending on paper chosen.

If you have any questions, or would like me to quote you for other design customisations, you can email me at deborah@doraanddeb.com, and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can!

Clear
  • Invitations, save the dates and thank you cards are available with a minimum printed order of just 10, and are priced in tiers, so the more that you buy the lower the individual card price. You can order in the exact quantity that you need—you can input this after adding all of your options, before adding to cart. I will also confirm this with you prior to printing.

    You need one card per 'household' in general, not one for each guest. Do remember to order a few spares, just in case, as well as a set for you to keep with your wedding album!

    If you are opting for guest name printing, I will print any extras with the generic wording I ask you to supply.

  • Please add your wording exactly how you would like it printing on your cards. If you are not ready to add your wording yet, you can download a wording form to fill out and email back to us when you are ready!

    If you would like to add guest names to your invitations, please add the placeholder <guest name> where you would like the names adding in the wording. You can download a spreadsheet template to fill out with the names of each guest here.

    The Hosts

    This is the line that generally denotes who is hosting (or paying for) the wedding, for example, “Together with their families” or “Mr & Mrs Adam Jackson cordially invite you to the wedding of their daughter”. You can also leave this blank if you would like.

    The Happy Couple

    If you are opting for an informal feel to your invitations then you can use your first names only, for more formal invitations it is usual to use your full names.

    Usually the "bride's" name will come first, although this is totally up to you.

    Enter this exactly how you would like it printing. For example, "&", "and", "with", etcetera.

    Request Text

    This line is where you would ask guests to attend: e.g. “Invite you to celebrate their wedding” or “Request the pleasure of your company at their marriage” (or left blank*).

    * For weddings where the parents are hosting, you may have included this already in the host line above the names of the happy couple, for example, “Mr and Mrs Cole Harrison and Mrs Kate Sharp request the pleasure of your company at the marriage of their children...”.

    Date and Time

    In the format you would like it printing, eg “12th September 2025” or “12/09/2025”.

    For example, “3 O’Clock in the Afternoon” or “2:30 PM”.

    Venue

    Usually you would type the name of the venue and a reference to the town or county only. For example, “All Souls Church, Islington” or “Strathmore House, Manchester”. You can, of course, add the full address if you would like.

    Additional Information

    This line is usually reserved for the reception information, e.g. “with a reception to follow” (“at … venue name” if your reception will be at a different location to the ceremony).

    Alternatively, you can use this space to detail a dress code, etcetera.
