Every Order Plants a Tree

I try to put in more resources than is taken out during the production of your wedding invitations, so to offset the paper use, every order plants a tree in an area where reforestation is most needed (excludes sample packs).

1/ Choose your items

Choose your favourite design from my range and select which items you would like in your wedding stationery suite—you can select as many or as few enclosures and cards as you like, depending on your own needs and budget.

If you want just a couple of enclosures (like adding an RSVP card) then select our invitation option, where you can add individual items. If you know you want a lot of enclosures, take a look at our suites, where we offer an additional discount!

2/ Add items to your order

Add all the items to make up your suite to your shopping basket and checkout. You can see the prices and quantity discounts for each item on our website. Enclosure cards and rsvp cards are available to add from the main invitation product options.

If you have selected to pay by 'deposit' rather than in-full, we will take the deposit amount via Stripe (credit or debit cards), and once you have signed off on your design proofs we will raise an invoice for the remainder of your balance that will need paying via BACS or credit card prior to us starting to print.

If you would like extra customisations that are not listed on the individual product pages you can get in contact for a quote for extra enhancements. We can tailor any aspect of a design, including major colour changes, updated paper stocks, font changes and much more!

3/ Configure your design and add your wording

There maybe multiple options available for each design.

For wedding ranges, you can look through all of the options prior to purchasing in one of the collection catalogues or by browsing the shop listings.

On the item pages, you will find a "configurator" where you can select your preferred design options. There is also an "Add Your Wording" form where you can add your wording for your main card - I will be in touch to collect wording for any additional enclosures. You can also send me your wording via email to deborah@doraanddeb after purchase, making sure to let me know your order number and name so we can add it to the correct cards! If you have any notes on anything specific, let me know in the design notes.

Don’t worry too much about getting everything perfect – I’ll take your preferred design and open it up in our graphics software to fine tune and finesse everything you’ve requested. If you would prefer to change an element or alter your wording, I can do that as one of your included 3 design revisions.

4/ The design work starts

I’ll get busy creating your initial designs using my graphic design software, taking care to optimise and amend the layout to fit with your exact wording and preferred design options.

I aim to get you the first draft(s) within 2 business days, but if you’ve asked for lots of modifications it might take me a little longer.

I really do try and treat every item as if it were our own: I want it to be perfect for you.

In the meantime, take a deep breath, sit back, grab a cup of tea or pour a glass of wine, and relax from the wedding planning for a little while!

5/ You get a PDF proof for approval

I email your proof designs as digital PDF files for you to check the design and wording over.

If there are any errors or revisions, I aim to amend the designs and get back to you with another proof within 1 working day. Up to 3 revisions are included as standard.

Once you’ve signed off that all is correct I start printing your stationery items.

Whether I use our professional print partner or print your items in house, every item gets checked with a fine-tooth comb. The print process can take between 1 - 2 weeks, depending on the size and complexity of your order, and if I have to reprint any of your items.

For orders including double-thick paper, tricky borders, envelope liners, hand-made envelopes, or any other embellishments, we spend a few extra days carefully finishing your items…

6/ I deliver your stationery to you!

Once everything is looking lovely, I package everything up (in recyclable packaging) and send on to you via Royal Mail First Class tracked post (or sometimes courier for larger orders).

I hope you’ll be just as pleased as we are with your new stationery, but if there are any problems let me know.

If you have ordered “Design Only” I will send you your print ready files after final approval, so that you can send on to the local printer of your choice. No printed cards will be delivered o you.
